Who are the
The Band Boosters is a group of parents who enjoy watching their students perform and enjoy performing instrumental music for their school and community.
What role do the Band Boosters play in the NCHS band program?
The band boosters raise almost 100% of all the bands costs. The band is not supported through the school system in enough monetary support to supply the band with the maintenance costs of running a successful band program. Some of the items the band has to spend money on are travel expenses, uniform cleaning, instruments, flags, music, drill and numerous other items.
What kind of things do the Band Boosters do?
The band boosters work concession stands for all the home football and basketball games, as well as drama performances and band concerts. They also help with various band activities including chaperoning trips, fitting uniforms, sewing flags, organizing tailgating events, building field props, and working local events for fundraisers.
How can I get involved?
The band boosters meet the first Tuesday of each month in the NCHS band room at 7:00 PM.
