Why do we have Fundraisers?
There are many costs associated with band - uniforms, equipment (purchase and repair), instrument maintenance, travel expenses. The list goes on and on. Band fees would have to be increased significantly to cover all these expenses. Our goal is to have practical fundraisers which feature products that you would likely use or consume anyway. Products such as funnel cakes, Papa Johns pizza coupons and Kroger cards make a big difference in the budget each year. *Show your band spirit by participating in all the fundraisers and help keep our band program the BEST there is!

OAKS & DERBY
The OAKS & DERBY fundraiser with BRANTLEY is 'VERY' important this year. This year the money earned will be directly designated to the purchase of the NEW marching and concert uniforms for the 2009 season. We are requesting that at least one person, if not more, from each family sign up to work one or both days. We have the potential to earn around $13,000, but everyone must pitch in.
There will be an information meeting on March 11th at 5:30 at the high school for all persons who will be working.
The orientation dates are Saturday March 21st @ 2pm for admissions & 5pm for security. Also Sun March 22nd @ 2pm for admissions & 5pm for security.
CURRENT:
1. Papa John's Coupons - Each coupon booklet sells for $5.00. There is a coupon for a free MEDIUM 1 TOPPING pizza plus other buy one get one free offers. These are given out by either Rebecca Filiatreau or Tonya Jones in groups of 10.
2. Kroger Cards - These are rechargable Kroger Cards. They are given out with a $5.00 beginning balance on the card. Each time these cards are used/refilled/used again a percentage of the amount spent gets sent back to the Band Boosters.
3. Chili's Coupon - Every Monday and Tuesday in the months of September, October and November present this voucher when eating at Chili's and the band will receive 10% of the purchase. This is a great way to support the band and enjoy a great meal. You can click the link below and print out as many as you want. Hand them out to everyone!
4. We're excited that Nelson County High School Band Boosters has been added to GoodSearch and GoodShop! More than 75,000 nonprofits and schools are now participating in this program! So what are "GoodSearch" and "GoodShop"?
